This isn’t just a business—it’s a reflection of what we believe in. We’re here to create work that matters, led by a shared commitment to quality and care. By sharing our learning. Real Topics, Real Relevant, Real Impact from @Nurse.Ktoday
Why We Started Humble Acts Academy
Humble Acts Academy was founded after recognising a significant gap in the disability sector: many support workers are caring for participants with increasingly complex health needs but are not always provided with practical, clinically informed education to support them in their role.
Too often, support workers are expected to manage situations involving seizures, PEG feeding, dysphagia, medication support, trauma, and complex health conditions with limited understanding of the underlying health risks and why specific care practices are essential.
As a nurse-led organisation, we believe quality care begins with knowledge. Our goal is to bridge the gap between mandatory training and the realities of frontline support by providing practical, evidence-based education delivered by experienced healthcare professionals.
Through Humble Acts Academy, support workers, team leaders, and providers gain the knowledge, confidence, and clinical understanding needed to deliver safer, more effective support.
Who is This Training For?
Support Workers, Child Safety Providers, NDIS Organisations & Families/ Carers.
Our Programs Bridge the Gap Between Mandatory Training and Frontline Reality

Gain the knowledge and confidence to safely support people with complex health needs. Our training focuses on real-world situations, including high-risk supports such as seizures, PEG feeding, medication management, mental health concerns, and behaviours of concern.
✅ Child Safety & Youth Services
Equip your team with practical, trauma-informed approaches to supporting children and young people. Learn how to recognise and respond safely to escalation, understand the neuroscience of trauma, and explore how adverse experiences can impact behaviour, emotional regulation, and development.
✅ NDIS Organisations & Team Leaders
Book training delivered on-site or virtually for your workforce. Training can be customised to meet the specific needs of your participants, helping to reduce incidents, improve quality of care, strengthen compliance, and increase staff confidence in the field.

Want to better understand your loved one's diagnosis, behaviours, or care needs? We offer in-home education and support delivered by a Registered Nurse. Our sessions are practical, easy to understand, and free from confusing medical jargon, empowering families and carers to provide safe and effective support.
